In darkness, we look for light. We look for As-Sirāj, and we use it to illuminate the path ahead of us.
“O Prophet! We have sent you as a witness, and a deliverer of good news, and a warner, and a caller to the Way of Allah by His command, and a beacon of light.”
– Qur’ān, Surah Al-Ahzab (33:45/46)
As-Sirāj, in its most simple form, means ‘a lamp’ or ‘a light’. It comes from the Arabic language, and is used four times by Allāh swt in the Qur’ān to describe the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Because of this, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ came to be known as As-Sirāj. But more than just a simple lamp, the Prophet ﷺ is the ever-glowing lantern, illuminating the path and providing an example for people all over the world to follow: in kindness, in in selflessness and in generosity.
Our objective at As-Sirāj Trust is to spread this light in people’s hearts by following the path illuminated by the Prophet ﷺ. We are a non-profit international organization driven by our faith, and our aim is to construct a better future. Our mission is straightforward: we strive to help create a world filled with hope, tolerance, and social justice, where people live in dignity, and poverty is eradicated.
We collaborate with local communities in the countries where we operate, empowering and supporting them towards self-sufficiency.

At As-Siraj we provide support to communities facing crises and hardships. We are actively involved in establishing madrassas, orphanages, and mosques in various regions around the world. We aim to not only meet the immediate needs of those affected but also to create sustainable solutions for their long-term well-being. Our goal is to ensure access to education, shelter, and spiritual guidance, empowering individuals and families to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
