Our mission is to provide long-term sustainable assistance to vulnerable communities across the world, facilitating and enabling them to achieve self-reliance.
We help youth to envision and work towards a better and brighter future, and we are working to provide poverty relief and prevention of homelessness in Pakistan, Jordan and the UK
We assist in providing education, training, and healthcare and all the necessary support to enable individuals and communities to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient.
In darkness, we look for light. We look for As-Sirāj, and we use it to illuminate the path ahead of us.
“O Prophet! We have sent you as a witness, and a deliverer of good news, and a warner, and a caller to the Way of Allah by His command, and a beacon of light.”
– Qur’ān, Surah Al-Ahzab (33:45/46)
As-Sirāj, in its most simple form, means ‘a lamp’ or ‘a light’. It comes from the Arabic language, and is used four times by Allāh swt in the Qur’ān to describe the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Because of this, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ came to be known as As-Sirāj. But more than just a simple lamp, the Prophet ﷺ is the ever-glowing lantern, illuminating the path and providing an example for people all over the world to follow: in kindness, in in selflessness and in generosity.
Following the path lit by the Prophet ﷺ , we aim to spread this light in people’s hearts. As-Sirāj Trust is a not-for-profit international organisation – we’re motivated only by our faith, and we’re seeking to build a better future. Our mission is simple: we want to help to create a world of hope, tolerance and social justice, where people live in dignity and where there is no poverty.
Put simply, we work with local communities in the countries we are in to empower and support them.
Your support helps us empower people to bring safe water to their own communities for generations to come. A water donation is one of the greatest things you can do with your charity.
A donation of £50 will supply a family of five with all the essential food items they need to keep their children happily fed with nutritious food choices for a month.
Donations of medicines and medical supplies change the lives of the people we serve. Medical Donations Program Heroes highlights the stories of the people that make it possible.
We are also striving towards the goal of enhancing their lifestyle eventually and gradually through the provision of better educational facilities Please help us fight poverty through education.
As UK that has an economy and social systems that promotes and advances the well-being of all people is possible, and so is a UK in which the natural environment is preserved for future generations – we can see it. We are committed to reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples, and we seek to unleash the resources and creativity of individuals and organisations from all sectors to solve social challenges. We envision a world of harmony where people of all backgrounds can appreciate life with good health, education and a livelihood.
