Due to the harsh winter, More than 20,000 people affected and 974 deaths in Jordan And Palestine were recorded due to extreme cold weather. The winter has been especially hard on livestock and agricultural production, resulting in a significant loss of resources for the region’s farmers. The UN estimates that at least $30 million is needed to address the immediate needs of affected communities. In response, As-Siraj Trust Work for those affected by the winter. The organization provides food, blankets, and medical supplies to those in need. As-Siraj Trust also provides warm shelters for families who have been displaced due to the cold weather.
