As Ramadan has ended, we wanted to take a moment to share the details of our recent Ramadan project in Jordan with you. With your generous support and donations, we were able to visit Syrian and Palestinian refugees in their camps and provide them with the basic necessities they need to survive.
Palestinian refugees first arrived in Jordan during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, with a second wave coming in the wake of the 1967 War
During our visit to Jordan, we distributed food packets to refugees and provided them with Iftar meals to break their fasts. We also had the opportunity to distribute toys, gifts, and Eid clothes to orphans and refugee children. Our team organized a party for the children, where they participated in fun activities in the park and were treated with shawarma. The children had a wonderful time, and it was heartwarming to see them smiling and laughing despite their challenging circumstances.
One of the highlights of our trip was the live cooking event that we organized for the children in a private villa that was given to us by a generous businessman. The children were able to watch as our team cooked and served delicious shawarma, and they had a fantastic time. It was a truly special experience that we will never forget.
We also spent time with orphans and underprivileged children from various parts of Jordan. We took them shopping for Eid clothes, distributed iftar meals, and enjoyed a beautiful nasheed evening with a well-known artist based in Jordan.
In addition to our efforts in the refugee camps, we also visited an autism center to spend some time with the special children there and provide them with gifts and an Eid party. We also visited several old homes on Eid day and provided the residents with a good meal and company. Our team also visited Zizza and Jordan Valley camps, where we distributed Eid gifts to the children and refugees. On Eid, we also distributed meat packets to the refugees, ensuring that they had a special meal to celebrate the occasion.
